Setting up a Sterling BB1230/BB1260 DC-DC Charger for a Roamer LiFePO4 Battery
Sterling DCDC chargers have a LifePO4 profile on them which can make them compatible with our batteries. The parameters on the LiFePO4 profile are not ideal however so we would recommend setting up a customer user profile. If you’re looking to do a custom profile on your charger then this might be a helpful video to watch.

Basically mimic the LiFePO4 setting of the charger (no need for equalization / sulphication / temp etc…) but change:
• Bulk/Absorption to 14.2V (14.4V for SMART4)
• Float to 13.5V
• Min absorb 0 mins Max absorb 60 mins
• Absorption factor 6
Only Bulk, Absorption and Float parameters are required so you don’t need to set anything for Conditioning. If it makes you set something, use 14.2/14.4V.
