EPEVER Tracer Series MPPT setup guide for Roamer LiFePO4 lithium batteries

If you've got yourself an EPEVER Tracer MPPT controller, here's Roamer's guide to setting it up with our batteries.

For this guide, you will need:

• EPEVER MPPT Controller

• EPEVER MT50 Display / Interface

With your controller all wired up, and the MT50 display connected, press esc.

Scroll down to 4. Control Para. and press OK.

Press OK again to highlight the Battery Type and use the up/down arrows to change this to User.

Press the right arrow.

Input the Ah capacity of your battery using the up/down and left/right buttons. If your battery is 105Ah for example, this should read "0105AH".

Press the right arrow.

Set the Temp Comp. Coif to 0 mv/ºC/2V. This isn't required for LiFePO4 batteries.

Press the right arrow.

You can keep Rated Voltage set to Auto.

Press the right arrow.

Scroll through the next few menus, inputting the values in the table below.

Most of the settings below are only applicable if using the load terminals of the MPPT, but are given here anyway as it can be confusing otherwise at first glance.

The important ones relevant to charging are highlighted in bold.
