Fitting a DC-DC charger to a Nordelettronica NE355

Edited

When setting up a DC-DC charger in conjunction with a NE355 unit, the process is quite straightforward.
Begin by connecting terminal B1 to the DC-DC input, followed by linking terminal B2 to the DC-DC output. It is essential to connect the common negative terminal of the DC-DC charger to the vehicle's common negative, which can be the negative terminal of either terminal J3, the starting battery, the leisure battery, or the chassis itself.
After establishing these connections, you will need to take the D+ signal from the NE355, specifically from the J5 connector, and route it to the DC-DC charger.
Additionally, it is crucial to create a shorting link between J14 and J15 using a piece of wire. This step is necessary to disable the onboard split charge relay within the NE355, ensuring that the system operates correctly without interference.
